01What this policy covers
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, do the same job. This policy uses "cookies" for all of them and explains what beyondzeroinjuries.com uses. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
02What we use today
Essential storage. These items make the site work and are always on. They are stored in your browser and are not used to track you across sites.
- bzi-consent (local storage): remembers the cookie choice you made, so we do not ask on every visit. Kept until you clear your browser data or we update our categories.
- bzi-case-access (cookie): set only after you agree to the case study confidentiality terms. It holds your agreement so you are not asked again on each case study, and lasts 90 days. It cannot be read by scripts on the page.
- bzi-chat (session storage): keeps your conversation with the site assistant as you move between pages. Cleared when you close the browser, or when you press start over.
Analytics. Off by default. We do not currently run any analytics tools. If we add one, it will load only for visitors who have turned Analytics on, and we will list it here first.
Marketing. Off by default. We do not currently run advertising pixels or embedded third-party media that set cookies. If that changes, it will load only for visitors who have turned Marketing on, and we will list it here first.
03Your choices
The first time you visit, a banner asks what you are comfortable with. Accept all, keep essential only, or choose category by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
You can change your mind whenever you like: select Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential storage, the banner will reappear on each visit and the assistant will not remember your conversation between pages.
Some browsers send a Global Privacy Control signal. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing for that signal to switch off, and optional categories stay off unless you turn them on.
04Third-party sites
Links to LinkedIn, YouTube, podcast hosts, Google reviews, and our online store take you to sites that set their own cookies under their own policies. We do not control them.
05Changes
If we add a tool that uses cookies, we will update this page before it goes live. When categories change in a meaningful way, we will ask for your choice again.
